“An acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary”, is the definition for a habit according to Webster’s!
Like the habit of “looking both ways before crossing the street” which eliminates the chances of getting squished, which obviously is a good thing!
We all know some of our habits are not the best and can lead us to poor results. I love the way people will sometimes suggest I change this habit or that habit. Easy for them to say. Everyone who has ever tried to change a habit knows what a monumental task that is. If you ever smoked, you know what I’m talking about.
However, if you’re not happy with the way your business is going and want a different result, changing a habit or two is probably in order. So, it all comes down to how much do you want the change. One habit that is critical to network marketing success and one of its key money-making tasks is prospecting. However, many in the profession have an absolute fear-resistant to prospecting, which if you want real success you must change. It all comes down to: ‘How Much Do You Want to Change?”. If the fire-desire is there you will change and hopefully the following bullets points will help you along the change path.
- Write down what you want to change
- The result you are shooting to achieve
- Paste it everywhere you will see it virtually all the time
- Tell everyone you know of your plans
You will be surprised that by using these simple techniques how focused you can become in achieving profitable habit change. Stating your objective and holding yourself accountable to others is a terrific start!
I’ll be happy to provide more of my personal experiences in network marketing and hopefully help you reach the next level.
