This Will Help You Survive the Downsizing Blues

Today I want to tell you a story of a friend who, working for someone else, was affected and what you can do about protecting yourself.

Last week, she was downsized from her PA position.  Bummer.  Sometimes we think those type of things only happen to other people until your turn comes up. Even the most secure positions in the most secure professions are not except from losing a position.

Life is full of “you just don’t know’s” – always being subject to someone else’s plan.

So here are 3 things you should consider doing:

  1. Start your backup plan now – even if you don’t think you need one.
  2. If you already have a backup plan, lean into it. You’ve got to work it, so it can work for you!
  3. Invest in yourself. Personally, I’ve invested in several coaches, my current coach being Ray Higdon.  Surround yourself with people who will support you and enable you to keep going when the unthinkable happens.

Message me if you’d like to continue the conversation.  Even better, message me (smoore71@att.net) and I’ll send you my free plan on how to turn downsizing into your success.

Journey well today.
